Many people today live with irregular sleep and lack of sleep. One way to create the conditions for better sleep is to introduce a pleasant and preparatory ritual before bedtime.

GUIDE - BETTER SLEEP RITUAL

  • Start digital blackout 1 hour before bedtime. No mobiles, screens or TV.
  • Dim other lighting in the home to a minimum level.
  • Light a candle and prepare with a nice and relaxing warming drink like a cup of chamomile tea.
  • Light an incense stick or prepare an incense dish with lavender mixture.
  • Allow the smoke to embrace the room and place where you are.
  • Please make sure that some of the smoke also finds its way into the bedroom.
  • Take a deep breath. Exhale. The day is over.
  • Reflect for a moment on the things you did well today. Who do you want to thank and what do you feel grateful for?
  • Give yourself a moment of contemplation and inner harmony. Rest your gaze on the glowing incense stick and follow the formations of the smoke. You can also look out of a window or fix your gaze on a fixed point on the wall.
  • Finish by thanking Mother Earth for her well-being and calming powers.
