Rainbow Paua Haliotis Iris Smudge Shelll

Natural sustainable & ethically harvested in New Zealand.

Rainbow Abalone in beautiful rainbow colors in predominantly blue and green. This variety of mother of pearl is called Paua by the Maoris, the indigenous people of New Zealand. Abalone means abalone and is found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Its shimmering mother-of-pearl reminds us of the shimmer of the sea and is said to calm emotionally difficult situations. The conch is also a symbol of the womb and a beautiful and powerful tool for lightworkers and people who work with healing.

Uses : New Zealand paua is considered to have the most beautiful color in the world and is used to burn loose white sage and smudge. Smudging is an old Native American practice, where bundles of herbs and fragrant woods such as Palo Santo are tied together in the abalone shell. This as part of a ritual ceremony to cleanse people and places of negative energies. The natural holes in the shell provide air supply.
