Matcha is a finely ground green tea in its purest form of antioxidants that are said to support the immune system, counteract aging and provide more energy and concentration during the day.
Health Bar's organic matcha CEREMONIAL GRADE is of the highest quality and grown in the Uji region of (Japan). The tea leaves from the first harvest are picked by hand, grown without pesticides and herbicides and processed without the use of machinery. Matcha contains more caffeine than coffee. The big difference is that Matcha acts more carefully in interaction with the body. While the caffeine in coffee enters the bloodstream within 30-45 minutes, this process lasts 6 to 8 hours in matcha, which prevents adrenaline and insulin spikes.
How to prepare Matcha : Boil water and pour some powder into your mug or matcha bowl. You need a matcha whisk to be able to mix powder and water. Pour in some hot water and mix your matcha until it becomes a little thicker in consistency. Then top up with a little extra water and then add skimmed milk of your choice. If you want a little extra sweet matcha, we recommend adding a little natural sweetener such as agave syrup.
