Sandalwood is a sacred evergreen tree that grows in India and Australia. The heartwood gives off a sweet aroma with a sour note that is much appreciated in Asia for its relaxing and calming properties. Aromatic trees are also called the trees of the gods and grow in various places around the world. They have been used since ancient times in rituals to purify not only the atmosphere, but also the body and mind.
